Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the editorial tool behind the Instagram account @nextuseful handles personal data. The tool is used only by the account's own team to prepare posts, read post statistics and respond to comments. It has no public sign-up and no other users.

What we process and why
- Our own Instagram account data obtained through the Instagram API: profile details (account ID, username, follower and post counts), our posts and captions, and aggregated post statistics such as reach, views, likes, saves, shares and follows. We use them to publish our posts and to learn which posts are useful to readers.
- Comments on our posts: the comment text, the commenter's Instagram username, the comment ID and time. We use them to read, moderate and answer comments on our own posts. A reply is sent or a comment hidden only after a person on our team decides to do so.
- Public sources such as news articles, research papers and public posts, which we read to research and credit the stories we explain.
We do not collect data from people who do not interact with our account, we do not use direct messages, we do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal data.
Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running our own Instagram account, answering the people who comment on it and understanding how our posts perform (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Service providers
- Meta (Instagram), which provides the Instagram API and where the posts and comments originate.
- Anthropic, whose Claude API helps us draft posts, classify comments and suggest replies. Comment text and post content are sent to it for that purpose under Anthropic's commercial terms.
- Telegram, which delivers notifications about new comments and suggested replies to our team's private chat.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server that stores the data in the European Union.
Retention
We keep stored comments only as long as needed to moderate them and learn from reader feedback, and at most the most recent 1,000 comments. Post statistics are kept while the account is active. Deleting a comment on Instagram removes it from Instagram. To have a stored copy deleted from our tool, see the data deletion instructions below.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its processing or ask us to restrict it by writing to nextusefulai@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in Slovakia the Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk).
Website and cookies
The public website and these pages set no cookies, load no third-party scripts or fonts and use no analytics. Our server keeps no record of visits beyond what is needed to deliver the page. The tool itself uses a single login cookie for its own team.

We update this page when the tool changes how it handles data and change the date at the top.
